Shoana was born into the community theatre scene in the Sacramento region of California. They hold a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia College Chicago in Acting, Stage Combat, and Voiceover and an Associate's Degree in Theatre Arts from Sierra College in Rocklin, CA.

#HereToo-Columbia College Chicago amplifies the present work of youth activists - from the March For Our Lives movement to current Chicago survivorship and gun violence prevention activism.

The #HereToo Project was conceived by Tectonic Theater Project company members Jimmy Maize and Barbara Pitts McAdams. It is a theatre based initiative compiled from found texts and interviews conducted by student creators, as well as Jimmy Maize and Barbara Pitts McAdams.

Shoana earned a nomination for Best Lead Female in SARTA's 2019 Elly Awards for their portrayal of Viola/Cesario in Twelfth Night at Roseville Theatre Arts Academy

 

The Laramie Project

@ Sierra College

​

In preparation for the October 2018 production, Shoana and 7 other castmates traveled to Laramie, WY on their own dime.While there, they participated in several services for the 20th anniversary weekend of the death of Matthew Shepard. They also met Matthew's father, Dennis, and several of the folx portrayed in the play, including Catherine Connolly (pictured).
